Weather forecast: The weekend will be a scorcher

On Saturday minimum temperatures will range between 16° C. and 23° C., for Sofia 16° C. During the day there will be sun with a light, in the Southeastern parts to moderate wind from the East-Northeast. Daytime highs will climb some more, reaching a maximum of 32-37° C., for Sofia around 33° C.

Over the Black Sea coast the weather will be sunny. There will be a moderate, along the southern portion of the coastline to temporarily strong breeze from the East-Northeast. Maximum air temperatures 28-32° C., temperature of the sea water 26-27° C., sea state 2-3.

Over the mountains the weather will be sunny with a light to moderate wind from the East-Northeast. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. around 26° C., at 2,000m. around 20° C.

On Sunday the dry weather will continue with high August temperatures. The wind will continue from the East-Northeast, and will be predominantly light. Daytime highs will reach 33-38° C.
