17-year-old Hristiyan Kasabov won a silver medal in the 110 meters hurdles at the Tampere 2025 European Athletics U20 Championships. Zinga Barbosa Firmino won a bronze medal for Bulgaria in the triple jump final. He achieved 15.71 meters in his best sixth attempt and initially took fourth place. However, the Bulgarian delegation filed a report over the use of unregulated shoes by Emmanuel Idinna from France, who was second at that time. That is how Zinga Barbosa Firmino moved up one position and took the bronze.
