Bulgaria's football champion Ludogorets has lost to Ferencvaros 0:3 as a guest in the second leg of the third preliminary round of the Champions League. The team from Razgrad was eliminated from the most commercial football tournament with a total score of 0:3 and will play in the playoff for entry into the Europa League groups against the champion of North Macedonia – “Shkendija” (“Iskra”) from Tetovo.

Ludogorets FC played a strong match at the “Groupama Arena” in Budapest. The guests had serious claims to the Spanish referee Alejandro Hernandez. At the beginning of the match, he canceled a goal by Ivaylo Chochev due to a controversial offside, and in the second half he did not call a penalty for pushing Chochev in the back in the home team’s penalty area.

Ferencvaros took the lead in the 38th minute with a goal by Barnabas Varga. In the 79th minute, Varga doubled the score for the hosts again. In the 86th minute, Gabor Szalai headed home for the final 3:0.
