Dead calm waters along Black Sea coast, sunbathers should be cautious

Photo: BTA

In recent days, there have been several fatal incidents of tourists drowning on the Southern Black Sea coast, reports BNT.

The strong northeast wind and dead current pose risks to life, especially for inattentive tourists.

On most beaches, the flags are red and swimming in the sea is prohibited due to the risk of drowning. Rescuers recommend that people not overestimate their strength and that children be in a safe place.

Even when the water seems shallow, pits are formed in places by the current. Therefore, the advice is to maintain self-control in an extreme situation at sea.
