Weather forecast for August 15

Light precipitation is expected in the southern regions of the country

During the night, the sky will be mostly clear over most of the country. There will be more significant cloudiness over the southern regions and in some places light precipitation is possible.

On Friday, it will be mostly sunny. Cumulus clouds will form over the south-western regions of Bulgaria and the mountains and there will be precipitation in places. There will be moderate to strong wind from the east-northeast. The highest temperatures will be between 31° and 36°C; for Sofia - around 31°C.

At the Black Sea coast it will be sunny with temporary increases in cloudiness in the second half of the day over the southern part of the coast. There will be moderate to temporarily strong northeasterly wind. The highest temperatures will be between 27° and 29°C. Sea water temperature is 26°-27°C.

Sunny weather will prevail in the mountains. In the afternoon, rainfall can be expected in some places in the Rila-Rhodope region. There will be moderate to temporarily strong easterly wind. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be about 25°C; at 2000 meters - about 17°C.
