For the sixth year, the Bulgarian School "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Boston, USA, is organizing a Bulgarian language exam with the assistance of the Department of Language Education at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". This was announced by the educational center on its website. The deadline for registration for the test and the course is August 15.

The test is scheduled to be held on November 23, 2025 in the school building in Boston. The educational institution is also organizing a virtual course to prepare for the test. The course will be held once a week and starts on September 18.

With the exam, students acquire an internationally recognized, non-expired certificate of proficiency in Bulgarian as a foreign language. It certifies the level of proficiency in Bulgarian according to the Common European Framework (CEFR) and the strict standards of the Association of Language Testing Centers in Europe (ALTE). Students from St. Cyril and Methodius School usually take the test for level B2. If desired, they can also take the lower level B1 or the professional level C1.
