Today, the Association of Bulgarian Schools Abroad (ABSA) is celebrating its 18th anniversary. "We thank the founders, whose inspiration and perseverance laid the cornerstone of our community, and all those who have continued to develop ABSA over the years," the association told BTA.
To mark the occasion, the association's board of directors has released a film entitled With Love for Our Children, dedicated to ABSA's first five years. The film was created by Rayna Mandzhukova, the current executive director of the Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad, and Snezhina Mecheva, an honorary member of the ABSA.
