The description is part of the international academic program "Picturesque Bulgaria", which is being held under the auspices of Vice President Iliana Yotova. The interdisciplinary work unites young Bulgarian researchers from 10 universities in Athens, Warsaw, Venice, Vienna, Ljubljana, Plovdiv, St. Petersburg, Sofia, Strasbourg, Heidelberg. The working groups are led by established Bulgarian and foreign scholars. Among the participants from abroad are students of Bulgarian origin, children of emigrants, students and doctoral candidates in Bulgarian studies.
