An 8-year-old boy has died tragically after a parasailing accident on a beach in the resort of Nessebar on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, the Burgas police reported. The child fell from a height of over 40 meters. Despite emergency resuscitation efforts, the boy's life could not be saved.

For the time being, the Nessebar police have detained three people involved in providing the "parasailing" activity to tourists, BNR Burgas reported.

The accident occurred minutes after 1 p.m. The child and his mother were lifted into the air by parachute, but due to a broken rope, the boy fell into the sea.
