Weather forecast for 21 August 2025

Sunshine, temperatures will rise to above 30 Celsius on Thursday

On Thursday the weather in Bulgaria will be sunny, in the afternoon over the mountainous areas with insignificant cumulus clouds. There will be a weak, in the eastern regions to moderate wind from the south-southeast. 
Temperatures will rise and daytime highs will be between 31°C and 36°C, in Sofia – around 32°C.


In the mountains it will be sunny, in the afternoon with insignificant cumulus clouds. There will be a moderate to strong southwest wind. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be 26°C, at 2,000 meters – around 17°C.

Along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast it will be sunny with a moderate southeasterly wind. The maximum temperatures will be between 27°C and 30°C, and the temperature of the sea water – 25°C and 26°C.

In the Balkans it will be sunny. In Bucharest daytime highs will be 36°C, in Athens and Belgrade – 34°C, in Istanbul – 31°C.
