A new musical event is starting – on August 22 and 23, the first Hisarya Jazz Open-Air Festival will be held in the town of Hisarya. As part of the municipality's overall strategy for the development of cultural life and tourism, the event aims to establish the town as a destination for cultural tourism.

During the first festival evening, August 22, the stage of the Summer Theater in Hisarya will be taken by Mihail Yossifov Latin Jazz Quartet and Piero Epifania – a Peruvian musician, multi-instrumentalist and composer. After them, Kottarashky & The Rain Dogs – an emblem of the modern Balkan sound will perform. The evening will end with the project "No Keys Trio" by world-renowned musician Theodosii Spassov.

The second evening, August 23, will begin with Martin Denev Ethno Venture – a project in which pianist and composer Martin Denev combines jazz harmonies with electronic sound and Balkan-Oriental motifs.

The energy will rise with Project Carnival – a funk and brass fusion, presented by the young, but already renowned musicians of the formation, as a real carnival of sounds and emotions. The finale of the first edition of the festival will be set by Vassil Petrov with a jazz trio, with Angel Zaberski on the piano. They will perform classic jazz standards, swing and romantic ballads.

The beautiful song "Spomen" brings together the velvety voice of Vassil Petrov and the piano of Angel Zaberski, who is also the author of the arrangement. Composer is Alexander Brazitsov and the lyrics are by Ivan Belovski.
