The state allocates 7 million euros for equipment and supplies in disaster situations

Bulgaria's The Ministry of Social Affairs has provided 14 million leva for equipment and supplies to deal with natural disasters. The funds have been allocated under a project of the Human Resources Development Program (HRDP), Social Affairs Minister Borislav Gutsanov said at a briefing, quoted by BTA.

The money will be used to purchase drones and boats, as well as clothing that will benefit volunteer groups, municipalities and the General Directorate of Fire Safety and Population Protection, Minister Gutsanov said, adding that training for volunteers is also planned.

The Social Affairs Minister stressed that firefighters and volunteers are heroes and expressed gratitude for their work.
