"Nearly a quarter of Bulgaria's economy is in the grey sector – around 23-24%. On the other hand, there is not enough money for pensions, for young people, for mothers, for the second year of maternity. How can the funds be obtained when part of the business continues to cause damage to the budget?", Minister of Labor and Social Policy Borislav Gutsanov said. He joined an inspection of the General Labor Inspectorate in the Black Sea resort of Sunny Beach.
According to him, inspections throughout the country since the beginning of the year have identified 2,300 cases of work without employment contracts. Around 500 of them are in the hotel and restaurant industry.
