In the last days of the hottest month - from August 27 to 30, the performance "Samodiva" will be premiered in London. This is an innovative, immersive dance production inspired by Bulgarian folklore myths. It is the work of Marchela-Vasilena Merchant and the new dance company Surdce.
Marchela-Vasilena Merchant is a choreographer, director and performer with a rich international career and a distinctive style that weaves the Balkan cultural heritage into the language of contemporary dance. The venue of the event is Proposition Gallery in London.
