A special ceremony was held in Bulgaria's Stara Zagora to open the new training athletics track above the Beroe stadium. The project is worth just over 1.3 million leva. After the renovation, the condition of the track meets the requirements of the International Association of Athletics Federations for conducting training for professional competitions in this sport, Sportal.bg reported.

The mayor of Stara Zagora, Zhivko Todorov, stressed that citizens will also have the opportunity to use the facility through the newly built access system for a fee of 2 leva. The fee has been introduced to protect and maintain the facility.
