The Ministry of Finance today published the final data on budget execution as of the end of July 2025. According to them, revenues, aid and donations under the consolidated fiscal program amount to 46 billion and 300 million leva (23 billion and 150 million euros), which is an increase of 5 billion and 500 million (2 billion and 750 million euros) compared to the same period last year, Finance Minister Temenuzhka Petkova told BNT. The largest contribution is made by tax revenues, which increase by 5 billion and 400 million (2 billion and 450 million euros), which is nearly 16.7% growth compared to 2024.

According to Petkova, expenses are also growing. They are 50 billion and 400 million (25 billion and 200 million euros) or 17.7%. The deficit as of July 31 is 4 billion and 200 million (2 billion and 100 million euros) or 1.96% of the country's estimated GDP.
