After a month-long summer recess, the 51st National Assembly has resumed its work. Among the most pressing tasks facing MPs are voting on the 2026 budget, addressing water shortages, selecting members of the Anti-Corruption Commission, and holding a fifth vote of no confidence against Rosen Zhelyazkov's cabinet.
