Bulgaria's Ivan Ivanov advances to US Open Juniors third round

Wimbledon junior champion and number 1 seed Ivan Ivanov easily advanced to the third round of the US Open tennis championship in his age group, BTA reported.
In the second round, the 16-year-old Bulgarian tennis player defeated home team player Maxwell Exted 6:2, 6:3 in a match that lasted an hour and 22 minutes. This was his second straight win at the tournament.

Ivan Ivanov will face another American, Maximus Diso, who eliminated Argentine Dante Pagani in three sets.

Alexander Vasilev also advanced to the third round of the US Open juniors, defeating American Dominick Mosejczuk. He will also play in the round of 16 for doubles.
