The second payment under the Recovery and Resilience Plan is expected by mid-October.
During a hearing in parliament, Deputy PM and Minister of Innovation and Growth Tomislav Donchev said that the country has fulfilled all commitments for the second payment, and that it is currently working on the third tranche of over EUR 1.6 billion. The request will be submitted to the European Commission before the end of September so that the money can be transferred to Bulgaria by the end of the year.
