For yet another year, lovers of freshly prepared lyutenitsa will be able to try this delicious culinary masterpiece at the traditional festival, where it is the main character - "Kurtovo Konare Fest". A rich musical program, various workshops, a film screening and a discussion about the consequences of throwing away food are just some of the events that await visitors until September 14.

Every year, three competitions are held within the framework of the event - "Queen of lyutenitsa", "Most Beautiful Stand" and "Keeper of Tradition".

The events are held with the support of the National Fund "Culture", Stamboliyski Municipality, private donors and volunteers. A traditional recipe for lyutenitsa from the village can be seen here.

Recipes for the "queen of legumes and canned goods" exist throughout the country. Therefore, in a material from the Radio Bulgaria collection, you can learn more about its preparation method in another settlement in Bulgaria - the town of Zlatitsa, where, in addition to a 300-year-old clock tower, there is also an exceptional student brass band "Marching Stars", which also deserve the attention of anyone who accidentally or intentionally finds themselves in the town located between Stara Planina and Sredna Gora Mountains.
