The water problem in recent years has not only not been solved, but has also been exacerbated by the lack of coordinated actions between institutions, the state and municipalities. With these words, Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov opened the first meeting of the National Water Board, BGNES reported.

He called on the board to coordinate an integrated approach to water management and stressed that the excuses that there is no money are unfounded.

"There is money and it must be managed honestly, fairly and under the supervision of society," Zhelyazkov emphasized. Speaking to students in Sofia, on the occasion of the upcoming vote of no confidence in the government in parliament, the Prime Minister said that political stability and predictability are the only environment in which the economy and the state can function normally.
