The Ministry of Defence has warned of large, low-flying aircraft over the country in the coming days, but has assured the public that there is no cause for concern. The international flight training exercise, European Spartan Exercise 2025 (ESE 25), officially opened on 23 September at Bezmer Air Base and will run until 3 October.
Air force units from Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Spain and Bulgaria will carry out operations in accordance with an agreement between EU member states operating C-27J aircraft, according to a press release from the Bezmer Air Base quoted by BTA.
