Weather forecast for 24 September

Morning mist, sunny skies by day

On Wednesday at dawn, temperatures will range between 8 and 14°C, and up to 18°C along the Black Sea coast. In Sofia, it will be around 9°C. In the easternmost regions, low clouds are expected before noon, with morning mists possible in some low-lying areas. During the day, it will be mostly sunny, with light to moderate north-northeasterly winds. Daytime temperatures will reach 26–31°C, about 28°C in the capital.


Along the Black Sea coast, it will be foggy in the morning, turning sunny in the afternoon. Maximum air and sea temperatures will be 22–24°C. The sea will be calm, with waves up to force 2 on the Beaufort scale.


In the mountains, conditions will be mostly sunny, though some afternoon clouds are expected, with a light to moderate east-northeasterly breeze. Maximum temperatures will be around 24°C at 1,200 m and about 16°C at 2,000 m.


On Thursday, northeasterly winds will strengthen, and temperatures will fall by 5–7 degrees. Expect more clouds and rain in western and southeastern Bulgaria.
