Three political parties contest the second place in case of early elections: survey of Trend agency

GERB-SDS party maintain their dominance in new parliamentary elections with 26.4%, show the results of a survey by the sociological agency "Trend". The poll was conducted on behalf of 24 Chasa daily through a direct standardized "face-to-face" interview among 1,004 respondents over the age of 18 in the period 13-20 September.


Three political parties are contesting the second place - Vazrazhdane with 13.9%, MRF - New Beginning with 13.5%,  and PP-DB coalition with 13.3 %.


Fifth in support is the Bulgarian Socialist Party - United Left with 7.2%, followed immediately by MECH party with 6.5% and ITN - with 5.7 %. 

Velichie party remains around the parliamentary barrier with 4.1%, and APS remains permanently below it - with 2.5%.

Nearly half (48%) of those surveyed told Trend that they would vote in early elections, which is equivalent to about 2,640,000 voters.

Regarding political governance, only 15% of Bulgarians express a positive attitude towards the parliament, against 77% disapproval. 

Positive assessments of the government are 23%, while negative assessments of the government have been gradually increasing in the last few months, reaching 66% in September. The levels of positive (43%) and negative (44%) assessments of the president are similar.

The survey was conducted on behalf of 24 Chasa daily through direct standardized face-to-face interviews among 1,004 respondents over the age of 18 in the period September 13-20.
