ITN has requested that the Cabinet report on measures for the integration of Ukrainian refugees and border control

In a statement to Parliament, the “There Is Such a People” (ITN) party, which is part of the ruling coalition, insisted that the government take action to truly integrate Ukrainian refugees into the country.

In its declaration, ITN insists that the police step up control over the insurance of foreign-registered cars and penalize any violations. The party also calls on supervisory bodies to check every unregulated commercial activity and present a report on the public funds spent on refugees within days. "Solidarity does not mean a lack of control, and helping does not mean breaking the law," the statement says.

"Instead of integrating and including Ukrainian refugees in society, we see closed communities working in the grey economy while Bulgarian entrepreneurs go through complex legal procedures," it continues, as quoted by BTA.
