On Thursday, minimum temperatures will range from 6°C to 11°C, reaching around 5°C in Sofia. It will be cloudy, windy and rainy during the day, with unsettled weather conditions. There will be a moderate north-easterly wind, stronger in eastern Bulgaria. Heavy rainfall is expected in western and central regions, and will be widespread. Maximum temperatures will reach 8 to 13°C, around 8°C in Sofia. As temperatures continue to fall overnight into Friday, rain in many higher parts of western Bulgaria will turn into wet snow.

Along the Black Sea coast, it will be cloudy with rain. Maximum air temperatures will reach 19°C, with sea water at 21–22°C. Sea waves will reach 2–3 on the Beaufort scale.

In the mountains, it will be cloudy, windy and mostly snowy, with rain below around 1,200 metres. A moderate to strong easterly wind is expected. In many mountain ranges in western and central Bulgaria, there will be heavy precipitation. As temperatures drop in the evening, the snow line will descend. Wet snow will accumulate, forming a snow cover, which could lead to buildup on foliage and possible breakage of branches and trees. Maximum temperatures will be around 5°C at 1,200 metres and -1°C at 2,000 metres.

On Friday, further cooling will cause rain in the mountainous regions of western Bulgaria, even below 1,000 metres, to turn to snow.
