The main political war being waged in Bulgaria is related to the geopolitical orientation of the country in the future. This was what Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov said in a speech at the opening of the Annual Meeting of the National Association of Municipalities in Albena resort. According to him, the main factor in resolving this political war is the introduction of the euro in Bulgaria and in this process the municipalities have a crucial role to do everything possible to dispel all fears of the Bulgarian citizens from the adoption of the single European currency.
The government that is currently in power has come with a clear political will to stop the continuous election cycle and breathe life into the economic cycles, Zhelyazkov also said.
The meeting of the municipalities continues until October 14.
