Regional Defence Summit 2025 to discuss strengthening European defence capabilities

The international conference Regional Defence Summit 2025 takes place today in Sofia. It brings together defence ministers, representatives of the European Union and NATO, industry leaders, investors and innovators with the next generation of technological solutions.

The main focus of the forum will be on how Europe can strengthen its defence capabilities through innovation. The conference will present the key priorities in this area, as well as industrial cooperation and the involvement of business in building modern defence capacity.

One of the topics of discussion at the conference will be how South-Eastern Europe and Bulgarian innovators can contribute to NATO’s technological resilience.
