Protecting the rights and caring for Bulgarian communities abroad are fundamental to Bulgarian foreign policy, said Bulgarian President Rumen Radev at a meeting with the Bulgarian community in Riyadh. He answered the questions of Bulgarians working and living in Saudi Arabia.

The President is visiting the kingdom to participate in the international forum "Future Investment Initiative".

“I believe that the Bulgarian diplomatic mission in Riyadh is at the level of this priority and is constantly ready to provide assistance to any compatriot in need,” Radev also pointed out.

"Your successes here are not just an example of dedication, hard work, and high qualifications. I hear only the most flattering reviews about you, your work, and your presence in Saudi Arabia. I want to assure you that these successes of yours are not just personal. They are also successes for Bulgaria, because they present our country in an extremely positive perspective, and this helps us deepen and develop our relations with Saudi Arabia," the president commented.

He pointed out that the Crown Prince of the kingdom, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, has shown interest in cooperation with Bulgaria in the field of innovation and artificial intelligence, BTA reports.
