The Russian Federation has not demonstrated readiness to achieve peace. The Black Sea is a border zone with war. It must have the absolute attention of the allies. We want a greater presence from them in the Black Sea. This was what Minister of Foreign Affairs Georg Georgiev said at a parliamentary committee meeting, BGNES reports.

Regarding the violation of Polish airspace by a Russian plane over the Baltic Sea, Georgiev said that “Russia’s actions are treacherous and extremely provocative and aim to undermine security and peace in Europe.”

Where the European vision of integration is absent, the European project is at risk of infiltration by other elements. That is how Georgiev commented the growing influence of Russia and China in the Balkans and expressed hope that the governments of the Western Balkan countries will correctly realize their national interests.
