For a month after the start of the implementation of average speed control on 12 road sections in the country, 33,288 files with violations have been recorded by the National Toll Administration's cameras. 13,775 of the violators have a foreign registration number. This was what Minister of Interior Daniel Mitov said in response to a question by MP Bozhidar Bozhanov about the collection of fines from foreign drivers.
The system for recording violators began operating on September 7. Coordination between state services on the procedures for paying electronic tickets after recording violators is still being introduced, BTA reports.
