The JazzBoree group continues the line of mixing Bulgarian folklore with expressive means characteristic of jazz. The musicians of the formation find the intersection between folklore and jazz precisely in the freedom of interpretation - this is exactly what we hear in their new release "Rosni mi, rosni, Rositse".

This is a version of a very popular Bulgarian folk song, which is not so typical for JazzBoree, confirms Savina, the singer in the group and the person who suggests titles from which the others choose what to work on:

"I run away from very familiar songs, because they also carry their own power. And a person must have a lot of courage to perform a familiar song, because there is always the comparison to other performers. I was very worried about doing it, but the guys really liked it. I really did not expect this song to become so beautiful and so affectionate – it's just Boris, touching the piano, bringing the harmony in  his soul. This is the best we have done so far!"

"Rosni mi, rosni, Rositse" is the fifth song by JazzBoree; work on three more new songs is under way, after which the group's debut album is expected to be released.
