Theater enthusiasts in Bulgaria are already counting the hours until start of the 13th edition of Theaters Night. This exciting evening will turn the stages in 11 Bulgarian cities into a true celebration of the arts.
The event’s ambassadors are beloved actors who also take part in the special photography project “Night Characters.”

The Theaters Night is part of the European Theater Night platform. The concept was created in France by playwright Éléonore Rossi but the pilot project was launched in 2008 in Croatia. Gradually, the initiative expanded, and today it includes Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Slovakia, Austria, Slovenia, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Czechia, and of course, Bulgaria.

The program in Bulgaria is impressive– 90 events in various genres will light up the November night in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Ruse, Blagoevgrad, Pleven, Simitli, Kardzhali, Gabrovo and Pazardzhik. Theater will once again breathe, speak and invite the audience to experience its magic in a different, yet always captivating way.
