Weather forecast for 19 November

Rain warning issued for 23 regions

On Wednesday, minimum temperatures will range from 5°C to 10°C across the country, reaching 12°C to 17°C in southern Bulgaria and around 8°C in Sofia. It will be a cloudy day with rain, mainly in northern and western Bulgaria, and this will continue through the night into Wednesday. There will be significant rainfall in some areas, as well as in the Eastern Rhodopes. Rain warning is issued for 23 regions. In the Danube Plain, there will be a light to moderate westerly wind, bringing colder air. In eastern Bulgaria, the wind will come from the south-southwest, reaching moderate to strong speeds, particularly in southeast Bulgaria. Maximum temperatures will range from 7°C to 9°C in the northwest, up to 13°C to 15°C in southern Bulgaria and around 12°C in Sofia.


Along the Black Sea coast, it will be mostly cloudy with rain mainly to the north of Cape Emine. Maximum air temperatures will range from 15°C to 19°C. Sea temperatures are likely to be 14-16°C and sea conditions 3 on the Beaufort scale.


In the mountains, it will be cloudy with rain in many places and snow above 2,000 metres. Significant rainfall is expected in the southwestern mountains and in the central and eastern parts of the Balkan Mountains. Rainfall will be minimal in the Strandzha and Sakar regions. Strong winds, especially in higher, exposed areas, will continue to blow from the southwest. Maximum temperatures will be around 10°C at an altitude of 1,200 metres and around 4°C at 2,000 metres.
