The amendments expand the possibilities for declaring a state of emergency and activating the armed forces in the event of war. They introduce the option to use weapons against drones during the protection and defense of military facilities.
President Rumen Radev stated that MPs must comply with the request he submitted in May for a referendum on the euro, after the Constitutional Court ruled in favor of allowing it to be considered.
