Jazz, soul, new wave and many other different styles can be heard at the Summer Theatre in Burgas on August 9. The reason for this colourful musical picture is the Sea Garden Festival. Its debut edition brings together foreign and Bulgarian artists. We learn more from Stoyan Dimov who is among the organizers of the event:
"The two big names are DJ Vadim and R&B singer Yarah Bravo who is involved in many projects with him and other artists. From the Bulgarian side we will see jazz duo Vasil Parmakov /piano/ and Dimitar Karamfilov /double bass/. Among our guests are also Ruth Koleva and her live bend performing soul and jazz. I will also mention the Rebelites - young reggae and dub artists who have already gained great popularity. And let’s not forget the beloved native New Wave band Review. We have invited popular DJs from all over Bulgaria. The festival will be held on two open-air venues - the summer theatre and the site behind it will turn into a DJ stage."
Before the hour of the DJs arrives, the music forum visitors will have the opportunity to see a festival in the festival - "Holi". It originates from the Indian tradition - in the name of goodness, freedom and love between people, friends and strangers spray on themselves coloured powders. This is done against the backdrop of music and the event is also known as a Festival of Colours. Burgas citizens will be able to enjoy this pageant and late in the evening, on the stage of the Summer Theatre, live performances of musicians will start.
