Bulgaria’s gross external debt goes down

In January 2016, Bulgaria’s gross external debt stood at 33.85 bn. euro (73 percent of the GDP forecast), dropping by 239.2 million euro (0.7 percent) compared to the end of the previous year, Bulgarian National Bank data show.

The net external debt (the difference between the gross external debt and the gross external assets) at the end of January stood at 6.36 bn. euro or 14.3 percent of the GDP.
