Premier Borissov meets with UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova

Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov met on Friday with UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova. Premier Borissov and Irina Bokova discussed the legislative measures and activities of the Bulgarian cabinet aimed at guaranteeing equality between women and men. Premier Boyko Borissov pointed out that the purposes set by the Bulgarian government are in conformity with the common European priorities in that field. Irina Bokova thanked Premier Borissov for the support provided by the Bulgarian cabinet for her nomination for General Secretary of the United Nations.
