Bulgaria officially enters run-up to elections: Ivan Hadjiiski Institute

Bulgaria has officially entered the phase of run-up to the presidential elections, the monthly analysis of Ivan Hadjiiksi institute of sociology reads. According to the experts, the refusal of incumbent president Rosen Plevneliev to run for a second term has been an urge to speed up nominations. The national forums of the main political parties that have already closed have cleared the scene for more decisive action, sociologists contend. Their analysis also notes that the national-patriotic theme is getting increasingly stronger in Bulgarian political affairs as well as the race of who is going to provide its legitimate political representation.
