On June 20 we mark the World Day of Refugees. On this occasion the UN Supreme Commissariat for refugees published a report, according to which in 2015 the number of refugees across the globe has for the first time in history gone above the number of 60 million people, reaching 65,3 million. For the first five months of this year alone the number of people having looked for asylum in Bulgaria are 6 421 persons from 13 countries. Refugee status has been given to 249 persons and another 180 have been given humanitarian status.
