Bulgaria is to start exports of honey to Iran, it has been reported. Minister of Agriculture and Food Desislava Taneva has submitted a letter to Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Hojjati, launching the procedure. Taneva met Hojjati during an official government visit to Tehran. Taneva has also requested assistance from her counterpart for quick finalization of already started procedures for export of Bulgarian poultry and dairy products to Iran.
