Iran does not plan to buy nuclear reactors from Bulgaria

Ali Akbar Salehi, head of the Atomic Energy Organization in Iran announced that his country had no plans of buying nuclear reactors from Bulgaria for the needs of its Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant.
However it is looking into Sofia’s proposal for buying nuclear power plant equipment from Bulgaria, Salehi added. One of the talking points during last week’s visit by a Bulgarian government delegation to Iran was the possible sale in Iran of the equipment manufactured by the Russian Atomexportstroy for the aborted Belene Nuclear Power Plant project.
