Nineteenth edition of Orthodox Book Week starts in Varna

Bulgaria’s coastal city of Varna is to host for the nineteenth consecutive year the Orthodox Book Week. The event starts on Monday, September 5. It will be officially opened by Metropolitan of Varna and Veliki Preslav Ioan. He will deliver a speech dedicated to the 1100th death anniversary of Saint Clement of Ohrid. The whole Orthodox week is also dedicated to that memorable anniversary. The event will take place in Varna City Art Gallery. Later Professor Valeriy Alekseev from Russia will present new editions of the International Public Fund for the Unity of Orthodox Nations. The Week of the Christian Orthodox Book will end on September 11 with a solemn liturgy.
