Bulgarian Defence Minister is convinced EU leaders would find common solution for Afghanistan

Bulgaria has been fulfilling all its commitments to the preservation of peace and security in Afghanistan. I am convinced that we would find a common solution and the European Union would call for signing of a readmission agreement. This is what Bulgarian Minister of Defence Nikolay Nenchev told reporters after opening of an international conference on the topic of "NATO’s adaptation to new security challenges." In relation to comments made by Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov about the possible withdrawal of the Bulgarian contingent in Afghanistan, Nenchev pointed out he understood the concerns, but according to him, withdrawing security forces from Afghanistan would mean the disintegration of that country, which would make refugee pressure grow greatly.
