In the third quarter of the year the gross domestic product (GDP) of Bulgaria has marked a 3.5-percent growth in comparison to the same quarter of the previous year. This is what estimates of the National Statistical Institute show. Gross added value rose by 2.5 percent. Data show that this is due to a rise in exports, which in the period from July to September rose by 8.5 per cent on an annual basis, and to a lesser extent, to consumption - 1%. In nominal value, Bulgarian GDP reached 12.6 billion euro. The realized added value in the third quarter of 2016 was 6.4 billion euros.
