Bulgaria repatriates woman wanted for terrorism in the Netherlands

The district court of the city of Haskovo in southern Bulgaria has decided to extradite 33-year-old Helena Sontjens to the Netherlands. She was detained under a European arrest warrant on December 21 at the border crossing of "Kapitan Andreevo," trying to enter Bulgaria from Turkey. The woman is wanted by authorities in the Netherlands over terrorism. In September last year, she left the Netherlands and headed for Syria.
