Ivan Vazov National Theatre in Sofia is to donate EUR 3.500 to the community center of the village of Hitrino which suffered in December last year a cargo train blast. The money was collected from donations during yesterday’s charity theatre play Hashove, the press center of the national theater announced. The community center building in Hitrino was almost completely destroyed during the heavy train blast and has not hosted any cultural events since then. We would like to thank all people who supported our charity efforts, director of Ivan Vazov National Theatre Marius Donkin said. On January 15 and 16 the National Theater hosts a charity exhibition displaying works of celebrated Bulgarian artists. The works were granted by the Union of Bulgarian Artists. The money from that exhibition will be donated to the community center in Hitrino as well.
