Number of Bulgarian tourists to Serbia rises

A 24-percent rise of the number of Bulgarian tourists visiting neighboring Serbia and a 12% increase in overnight stays, have been reported at the ongoing "Holiday and Spa Expo" in Sofia.

The National Tourist Organisation of Serbia say that in recent years in addition to visiting border regions, Bulgarian tourists have started traveling more often to Belgrade and western Serbia.

When it comes to Serbian tourists visiting Bulgaria, they mostly prefer the Black Sea coast and Bulgaria's mountain resorts, tour operators said.
