Caretaker Government proposes changes in Public Procurement Act

The Bulgarian caretaker government has published a report on the condition of ministries and activities on public procurement procedures.

Along with the good practices related to the general condition and functioning of ministries, the document points out some recurring deficiencies over the years in the area of ​​public procurement procedures. To overcome weaknesses and shortcomings, the report of the caretaker government reads that the possibility of amending the Public Procurement Act and its rules, as well as the Law on Protection of Competition, should be considered.
