Bulgaria would become a recognizable destination for all tourists if we focus on culture, Bulgaria’s Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova said on Saturday at the official opening of Italy’s Days festival in the coastal town of Sozopol.  In 2016 we launched 8 cultural and historical tourist destinations which cross 65 towns and villages and include over 160 tourist sites and The Sea Fortresses of Bulgaria is one of them, Minister Angelkova reminded. Last year 11% of the foreign guests visited Bulgaria for tourism purposes and we expect that this figure will be even higher in 2017. Bulgaria has unique cultural and historical heritage, Nikolina Angelkova added.
